Unfortunately, we said good-by to 5C's Captain Midnight in April 2023. Necropsy report failed to give us any reason for his untimely death. We are fortunate to have a few of his offspring to carry on his amazing legacy. We knew Captain Midnight was special the minute he was born. We had no idea just HOW special. Captain currently has 18 banners in both halter and fleece. One of those banners is a coveted Judges Choice Fleece. At his very first show Captain was 1st and CC as the y ...

Coco Noir is a genetic package of champions. Captain Midnight is Coco's sire and if that's not enough her grandsire is our Contender. Oh and did I mention her dam, Cassidy (now residing in Canada), is a maternal sibling to our grey champion Chicago. OK.......so champion blacks and greys are her foundation now look at her fleece!!! The fleece has the beautiful structure of her sire along with density and fineness. Check her fiber stats. Let's not forget conformation here. Coco Noir's conformation is solid in every aspect. Now for a new twist, we have color genotyped our herd and Coco shows that she doesn't carry dilution. This means that she is most likely to produce black and dark colors. Coco will be ready to breed in the spring of 2022 and could be a great addition to any colored breeding program.
